Vision and Career Path

20 years connecting cultures and strategies

From my first stay in England as a child, I understood that languages were not just another school subject, but a key to connecting different ways of thinking.

I firmly believe that there is no better way to reach people’s hearts than through their own language. This conviction has evolved into a 20-year career in which I have learned that high-quality professional translation is a strategic investment to attract and retain customers.

My philosophy and goals

My vocation is to help companies connect with their audiences in a natural way, achieving—through localization—a brand presence that fits the identity of each local market like a glove.

10 years leading localization for technology industry leaders
  • Leadership for Google: A decade of experience coordinating the linguistic processes of the Galician team, managing quality in highly complex environments, and analysing metrics to ensure that everyday products such as Android, Chrome, YouTube and Gmail feel authentic and engaging to users—all while meeting the standards of excellence of a global giant.

  • Spotify’s strategic launch: I led the establishment of the Galician team during its first three years, laying the foundations and designing the materials required for a global product to resonate with a distinct identity.

  • Management using PMP methodology: I apply my project management expertise to optimize workflows and lead high-performing teams towards continuous improvement.

360° vision: My training in digital marketing and my accreditation as a sworn translator enable me to provide comprehensive solutions, ranging from a campaign to the rigour of a legal agreement.

A shared commitment to the global and local

My experience is not limited to large international corporations. Over the years, I have also helped a range of end clients, such as Eroski, Repsol and Kutxabank, find their voice and make a genuine connection with their audiences.

I see my profession as a commitment that goes beyond the provision of services. For this reason, I share my experience as a university professor and have delivered talks and workshops at industry forums, as well as participating in networks that promote our profession and executive talent, such as Women in Localization, Asociación Galega de Profesionais da Tradución e Interpretación, and Executivas de Galicia.

The drive to learn that has guided my career over all these years now fuels my interest in artificial intelligence and digital transformation. I am constantly evolving to offer solutions that combine human sensitivity with the potential of today’s technology, applying to every project the same precision as that required by top-tier technology companies.

After two decades, I maintain the same curiosity and desire to grow as on day one.

Shall we talk about your next challenge?
